iPhone vs Google phone

The launch of Google Phone Nexus One Created much hype in smart phone market especially the phone is drawing numerous comparisons to the Apple  iPhone.
Without going much deep into the phone here i am placing my lite bite comparison between Google Nexus One Phone and Apple iPhone.

 Dimension:
Google Nexus One is Thinner than iPhone. Nexus One measuring 119mm (H) X 59.8mm (W) X 11.5mm (D) where iPhone measures 115.5mm(H) x 62mm(W) x 12.3 mm(D).

Screen:
Google Nexus One features a 3.7-inch (9.4 centimeter) AMOLED (Active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) touchscreen display where iPhone 3G S comes with 3.5-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen display

Resolution:
Nexus One screen resolution is 800×480 pixel
iPhone 3G S is 320 x 480 pixels.

Processor:
Nexus One  run with 1-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
iPhone 3G S is ARM Cortex A8 processor.

Operating System:
Nexus One  runs on Android Mobile Technology Platform 2.1 software.
iPhone’s current model runs on iPhone 3.1 OS.

Battery Backup:
According to Google, Nexus One will offer talk time of up to 10 hours on 2G, up to 7 hours on 3G. Standby time is up to 290 hours on 2G and up to 250 hours on 3G. The phone offers video playback of up to 7 hours and audio playback of up to 20 hours.
iPhone 3G S supports up to 12 hours of talk time, 30 hours of audio, 9 hours of Wi-Fi, 10 hours on video playback, and 5 hours of 3G talk time.

Camera:
Nexus One equipped with 5.0 Mega pixel.
iPhone 3GS equipped with 3.0 Mega pixel

Applications:
Apple iPhone App Store iTunes offers people over 90,000 apps. Nexus One, on the other hand Google Nexus One Phone has its own Android Market that offers mere 20,000 applications.
