Well..... The much awaited smartphone from Samsung has been Unveiled. After a long waiting Samsung has finally announced the successor to Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II. The Samsung I9300 Galaxy S3 is, according to Samsung anyway, 'inspired by nature – it sees, listens, responds, and allows you to share the greatest moments'.


The Samsung Glaxy S III has a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen sporting a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It comes with 1GB RAM and will be priced according to its internel memory. The company is offering 16/32/64 GB. It also has a microSD slot which can be expanded upto 64 GB.

Samung has released a total of three dual-sim Android smartphones. One of them is the Samsung Galaxy Ace DUOS which packs in a bunch of features. The phone will be a dual-sim (GSM+GSM) standby phone. The Galaxy Ace DUOS is powered by  832 MHz processor, a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touch display sporting a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and cased within a so-called polished Metallic casing. It comes with 512MB of ROM, and supports expandable storage of up to 32 GB using micro-SD card.



The phone packs in a bunch of features like 3.5 inch HVGA display, a 5 Mega Pixel camera and will be running on Android v2.3 Gingerbread. Moving on its Camera power, it has a 5 mega pixel rear facing fixed focus camera and shoots high resolution images as well as shoots acceptable quality videos. Samsung Galaxy Nexus coming to India in March

Samsung's Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-based smartphone, Galaxy Nexus, is likely to arrive in India in March. The launch of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was pushed till January after Samsung said it had “many products” scheduled for December.


Samsung India on its official Twitter account said that that the smartphone is going to be launched in March but didn't supply exact dates. In another post, Samsung India promised to give updates about the Nexus smartphone once it got more information. The official registration page of the handset, however, still has the product listed as “coming soon”.

Dual-core HTC Primo leaked, bearing Super AMOLED screen

After the leaks of the HTC Ville and HTC Edge, details about another HTC device have been leaked, called the HTC Primo. 


All three phones are expected to be released at Mobile World Congress in February.

LG CX2 images surface online; rumoured as LG Optimus 3D 2

Google Maps for Android Gets Update, Brings Improved Battery Life, Public Transit Options

Google Maps for Android gets two welcome improvements today. With the latest release, latitude users will see faster refreshes for locations tracking within latitude and better battery life. 


Further more, the navigation has been updated to better guess the location based on the vehicle speed incase the GPS signal is lost. The number of route options for public transit users has also been increased to 4 from 3.

LG Launching Optimus Pad LTE, 1.5Ghz Dual Core Tablet With 8.9-inch IPS Display

LG just officially announced the launch of Optimus Pad LTE, an Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet. Initially releasing in Korea, the tablet features a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, an 8.9 inch screen with 1280×768 IPS LCD display, 32GB of onboard storage and an SD card slot capable of supporting another 32GB.



The LTE based device comes with a 6,800mAh battery and boasts an 8 megapixel back camera for shooting HD video and a 2 megapixel camera for front facing shots. In addition, it supports High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) and Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA).
